'In addition, in an accompanying press release, the Revenue advises that a criminal investigation is underway into the fraudulent use of DWP staff identities in the making of tax credit claims. The fraud relates to internal information held about staff, and the Revenue reports that it and the DWP are working to identify the records concerned, to ensure they are corrected and that no staff are disadvantaged as a result.'

This is a very queer affair...on-line claims portal closed as a result of fraudulent claims made using the identities of DWP staff???

i am all questions, but one way or another, it doesn't bode well for the ID card scheme...
