I've obtained detailed information under the FoIA about DM's use of IB50 reports in assessing claims for DLA.

The main item is entitled:

USE OF PERSONAL CAPABILITY ASSESSMENT
INFORMATION IN CLAIMS FOR DISABILITY LIVING ALLOWANCE
A Handbook for Decision-Makers

It contains detailed guidance about the use of IB50 including interpretation of invdividual descriptors.
