Arrears of RP treated as capital
Mon 16-Jan-06 08:28 PM

Any of you night hawks got a copy of CPAG to hand, it's half nine and I'm desparate. I've left my copy at work...

I need the reg under which arrears of retirement pension can be treated as capital and thence disregarded for 26 weeks. It's for a hearing tomorrow morning first thing so if it's 9.00am it's too late but thanx for looking. If surfed Findlay 'til my eyes are crossed so it's last resort time or a mad cap dash into work tomorrow.

ta much!

Dan,

There appears to be a bit of confusion.

Arrears of RP count as income for the period it is in respect of - there is no disregard in the calculation of income.

Regards
