I hope someone with a longer memory than me can help! Client claimed WFTC. This claim should have ended Dec 02 - client notified of this by letter May 03, which told her she had been overpaid WFTC but would not have to pay it back. Client has no recollection of claiming WTC/CTC but apparently she was paid this till Aug. 03, when she got an award notice of nil notifying an overpayment. She is being chased to pay back this amount.

Were there transitional arrangements so that people who were getting WFTC started getting WTC/CTC without making a claim? If this was the case, then TCO should have been aware no later than May 03 that client was not entitled - but went on paying her till August.
