New to here met client today,has recently split up from husband she is in receipt of Incap at £169 per fornight and DLA h/r mob and middle rate care have advised her to claim I/Sand CTB her husband is paying her £700 per month to cover mortgage and additional loan secured on property my question is how will this money be treated when calculating
entitlement to both benefits ?

Whose liability are the mortgage and loan? If they are joint owners, you can certainly argue that he is only paying to meet his own liability and not to give her income.
