the framework was designed to provide guidance to Medical Advisers on the assessment of percentage disablement in respect of Industrial Injuries Benefits and Severe Disablement Allowance claims, in those conditions/functional areas for which there is no direct correlation with prescribed degrees of disablement as laid down in Schedule 2 to the Social Security (General Benefit) Regulations 1982.
