i work on a voluntary basis with people who have mental health difficulties especially manic depression.The majority have an award of dla middle rate care and low rate mobility.one lady has this for an indefinate period and i feel should be entitled to high rate care as she has supervision needs day and night as she is prone to suicidial thoughts,erratic behaviour and severe lethargy.additionally i noticed that the wording about the review on the letter informing of her april increase had changed.does anyone know the current periodic review situation?has it changed?i know that only a small percentage of awards has been reviewed annually,don't know if it is still according to likelihood of change.the people i work with become extremely anxious about any changes to benefits and this causes more health problems.i'd be really grateful for any info/help.thanks
