My HA is looking at providing part-ownership properties specifically to disabled persons. We already do some part ownership but since HB claims are so rare I have never had to look up any regulations. We expect that with disabled residents HB could be more prevelent - reflecting Disability premiums etc.
As far as I know, (shared owned)HB is granted on a service charge/rent liability - but I do not know what regulations, if any cover what can be included in rent or service charge.
What I need to know is: Are there specific regulations for part ownership HB claims? Are service charges defined differently?
