CSA enforcement are now on the job of chasing my client's ex for several years arrears of unpaid Child Support (around £10K). My client is in work now but part of the period the arrears will cover was when she was in receipt of IS.

If she's lucky and arrears are paid, surely at this stage JCP won't raise any overpayment of IS or would they ?

In my experience JCP will not raise overpayment instead they will deduct any cs payment for the period your client was on IS from total arrears before they pay her.

Why didn't I think of that one!
