(Edited to replace capitals with lower case)

to all you clever people out there i'm looking for the answer to a rather complex question.

if a client, say single parent in receipt of is/cb/ctc has their bank account frozen, it is my understanding that sheriff officers are unable to "freeze" the tax credits and child benefit income as these are for the purpose of the children and should be exempt from this unfortunate debt recovery method employed by sheriff officers.

i'm beginning to do some research into this form of debt recovery and would grately appreciate any and all views to assist me in my task.

positive and not so positive views will be welcome.
