Can anyone help with the interaction between IS and ESA?
Client claiming IS as a LP. Has been incapacitated for over 12 months and can certify, but has not applied for IB.
Claims ESA now, continues to be entitled to IS as a LP.
Should the DWP cease her IS claim and start paying ESA, or continue to pay IS? I thought the later, but they have done the former!
