Free Advice & Guidance NVQ Training for Voluntary Sector staff!!!
Thu 27-Jan-05 10:31 PM

... from adviceUK London Region -

Would you like to accredit and enhance your advice skills & knowledge?

  • Do you offer advice and/or information in your job role?
  • Are you a front line support worker, a case worker or a centre co-ordinator?
  • Is your organisation committed to training and developing its staff and volunteers?
  • Is your organisation based in any of the Learning and Skills Council London East boroughs? (Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley, Havering, Barking & Dagenham, Redbridge, Newham, City)

The European Social Fund and Learning and Skills Council London East are funding an Advice & Guidance NVQ accreditation project for new and existing advice workers who are in paid work or volunteering for an Advice Centre.

You will be trained and supported to achieve a nationally recognised qualification within an agreed timescale and at a level appropriate to your job role. You will be interviewed and assessed to see which level is for you and whether you need any additional skills training before commencing NVQ assessment. (This project is also open to unemployed people who would like to enter the sector. Work placements will be required in order to access the NVQ.)

adviceUK London Region will be holding a series of briefings for potential learners over the next few months, so book now to avoid disappointment.
