I am carrying out an evaluation of a welfare rights project targeted at teenage parents/pregnant teenagers.
I would be interested in hearing from any WR advisers who provide a dedicated welfare rights advice and advocacy service to this group - there seem to be very few such projects operating. Please email me direct or ring me on 01473 251100.

Hello there
Don't know if this is useful but we have a Young Peoples Project Worker who works closely with an organisation who just gave us a talk this morning. The organisation (can't remember their proper name) is informed of every young woman in the Gateshead area who become's pregnant. Our worker links in with this organisation and gives welfare rights advice when required. This is limited because the post is not full time. It is also primarily supposed to be housing advice but it would be ridiculous to not do holistic advice which she does. Any help?
Sorry bit of a luddite - my email is chrisj@gatesheadcab.org.uk I can pass info on if you would like. Chris
