Attendance Allowance
Mon 31-Jan-05 08:42 AM

Got full statement from AA appeal which states:

"Help with stairs will occupy between 60 and 120 minutes per day in all. The difficulties which Mr. ********* experiences in using stairs to get to the toilet could (in view of the visiting doctor) be avoided by the use during the day of a bottle or commode."

I know there's Commissioners Decisions about aids and how reasonable they are etc but does anyone know of any that deal with disposing of bodily fluids if a bottle or commode is used?

Thank you in anticipation!!

Commissioner Parker's decision in CSDLA 629 2002 solely concerns when the emptying and cleaning a commode can count as reasonable attention in connection with a bodily function.
