applying for dla for 4 year old child who suffers from faecal incontinence. has become a problem for mother during day and night time hours also the additional aspect off beginning nursery. any suggestions how i should tackle this case.

Not come across a case exactly like that. When I fill in Child DLA forms I try to give them as much information as possible.....even down to asking the parent to keep a diary of care/attention needs. I find this the easiest way of getting round the needs being substantially more than a child of the same age without the problems.
Don't worry too much if your cl doesn't fit into the idealised little boxes about therapy and play etc (so much the better if they do) so long as you detail the problems he causes his mum (night and day) the fact that 4 yr olds would not normally be soiling themselves, you should have a fighting chance of an award.
