Hi ClaireSorry no direct experience of this but I found the following in my files:http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits/ntc_bulletin26.pdf It is out of date in terms of Civil Partnerships but may be of use. HMRC also have some Gender Recognition FAQ's which are here: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/employers/gr-faqs.htmAlso some information from the compliance manuals:http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/ccmmanual/CCM15250.htmhttp://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/ccmmanual/CCM15270.htmNot sure if this is what your looking for - but hope it helps. Cheersseeing new client this afternoon and wanted to be able to have some notion of what if anything can be said/done....essentially, hmrc say they weren't entitled to tax credits as a couple....
those look as though they'll answer the questions.....thanks again....
