Many months ago I posted a message asking for your help in preparing a resource pack for Citizens Advice bureaux in England and Wales to support them in carrying out local tax credit campaigns. We also expanded the pack to encourage bureaux to assients clients in the management of their cliams to avoid under or overpayments and added sections on the very low take up of CTF vouchers. Sadly, despite my message being read by hundreds of people no on actually replied. However, onwards and upwards, this unique pack (I know of no other of its type!)has been produced and will soon be made available to all CABx on the 12th April. If you are interested in tax credit take up and or helping clients to manage their claims effectively a limited number of packs are available for external distribution. The pack itself is very CAB oriented, as you might expect, but the content is applicable to all types of advice agencies. If you want one send your request to sam.mcqueen@citizensadvice.org.uk

Hi Shawn, there are currently electronic versions in a PDF format but I have not yet got around to gathering them all in one place. When I do this how would I make these available to you? Would I just e-mail all of the material as attachments to you (I think some of the files are too big for just one e-mail!)

Shawn, there will be a short delay before I can pass the info to you. Bureaux are due to get the pack on the 13th-14th April so I would like to make sure they have the pack before it becomes universally available. Politics with a small "p"!
