contribution- JSA URGENT!
Wed 21-May-08 10:22 PM

Hi, quite new and with an appeal case. The Client is Polish married to UK citizen, with resident card. Moved from England to N/Ireland while pregnant (previously worked a full year). Came to the local DWP and was told she was not entitled to anything. After the baby was born due to personal problems (postnatal depression) and the market couldn' find a job so turned again to the DWP for contr. based JSA. Refused on the grounds of the insufficient contributions in the second year (while looking after a baby+mentioned problems). Appeal allowed! I have
R(JSA) 3/02
CA (Peter Gibson, Robert Walker and Keene LJJ)
06.12.01
CJSA/1920/1999
on the grounds of indirect sex discrimination.
Any other advice?

Do you still need help with this? If so, please clarify what you need; I'm not sure I understand what the problem/question is
