Hi all
A resident fleeing domestic violence has moved into one of our self-contained flats and put in a claim for HB/CTB. HB has been awarded at our property but we have been informed the FDV rules do not allow CTB on two homes in this situation. Is this correct? (If so, it seems a bit harsh - why would the HB Regs work to help those FDV whilst the CTB regs don't?).
