I came across this case this morning. It is useful for working out how to calculate the 5 year permanent residence point, and specifically for residence before 2000 and any version of the Regulations.

It isn't necessarily going to help us much with the majority of our cases though as the claimant was French, not A8.

no, but interesting nonetheless, especailly as it seems from regular posts that the DWP struggle with "full" EEC nationals, let alone anyone else!
