Following the recent article on Prison benefits published in the Adviser by Morna Rae which I would reccomend to any adviser working with prisoners and there families. I would also recomend advisers worcking with this client group familarise themselves with CSI/15611/96 which alows prisoners who prior to imprisonment are reciving DP to claim DP on reliase and not have to serve a waiting period. I have a standard reconsideration letter if anyone is interested.
