recently i have noticed dwp sending out renewal forms for dla and then sending a reminder within a couple of weeks saying that the form needs to be back in a.s.a.p. is this another ploy on their part where they send out a renewal 6 months from the end of current award then get claimant to send it back a.s.a.p and then stop or substantially reduce claim and therefore save a lot money!

I've not noticed that the time between receiving the form and the reminder has become shorter recently. Having said that, in my experience it is about 3/4 weeks so it looks as though it might have been reduced if your claimants are receiving a reminder after 2 weeks. What did DLA say when you contacted them?
