Have a faint bell ringing in the back of my head (must have been one of those weekends)that some time ago, there was a posting on this topic- but have not managed to track it down. My colleague has a client who has motability vehicle but loses HRM on renewal. Requests revision- unsuccessful. Appeal recently lodged. In the meantime, is about to lose motability vehicle. This will have serious repercussions for client. Grounds for appeal are fairly strong so good chance of award being reinstated by tribunal- but is there anything we can do re motability vehicle in the meantime? Colleague is considering asking DBC for interim payments of HRM, but I seem to recall having read something, somewhere, about discretionary powers to continue motability agreement where appeal is ongoing. Can anyone shed any light on this or am I making the whole thing up?
