Foster carers
Mon 25-Apr-05 01:33 PM

I'm looking for some information - rather than re-inventing the wheel! - on foster carers and benefit rights
Have had a look at swopshop and found some useful stuff - particuarly from herts and suffolk
Does anyone else have anything they would like to share please?
Thanks in anticipation

After further consideration, can I also suggest you look at http://www.worksmart.org.uk/money/viewsubsection.php?sun=32

which has very useful information about paying for childcare, though not necessarily for foster carers.

The NCT web-site has a guide to other useful web-sites and the maternity alliance site has information about benefits, though not necessarily for Foster carers.

Hello Chris
I have run a training course for foster carers and the foster Care organisation about benefits and foster care.
Naturally I did some work on the problems and have done a little guide.
If you would like to talk to me about this
email me benefit@dircon.co.uk or ring me 0208 694 7404
