A client has recently dropped her hours of work to 15 from 30. This seems to have been because she was not getting on with her boss. However she would have needed to drop her hours very soon anyway reagrdless of this, as she is due to start intensive treatment for a personality disorder which involve attending group and personal therapy for 3 days a week for around 2 years.
I suspect the fall out with the boss might be connected to the effects of her personality disorder, but I was not able to get much out of her as she would not discuss the effects of her condition, or tell me exactly what had happened at work.
As she now works under 16 hours and earns under £92 per week will it be possible for her claim ESA and argue that her work should be treated as theraputic work higher limit for 52 weeks? I have not come accross anyone doing this when they already have the job before claiming ESA.
|f this is possible, would the 52 weeks start from when the work started or from the date of the ESA claim?
