Person from abroad
Thu 29-Jan-09 11:02 AM

I have a British client who has a partner from Thailand. He has been living in UK. Ptr here and visa has just been changed to show limited leave to remain in UK. Client on Pension Credit for himself only.
HB has been assessed to give full HB BUT non dep charge for partner.

Trying to establish if this is correct or not and Regs that apply. Any help appreciated.

Did he declare his partner as a partner?

Sorry for an obvious question

Ptr is definitely known to Council as the partner.
