backdating of HB award to date of rent increase Mon 30-Apr-07 03:28 PM
I am assuming that an increase in annual rent is a change of circs that has to be reported within one month and if not then HB will not be backdated to date of change. Am I correct? We cover 19 local authorities and there is not usually a problem with backdating if it was not done within a month; it usually gets backdated, even several months later. One LA is now refusing and I am now not sure...can't find anything in CPAG handbook about this specifically. thankyou
