Client is accused of claiming IS, CTB,HB since 2002 up to £55000 whilst cohabitaing. She states that she does have two children by her now partner, but that in the past he was not living at her address. She states that they have had an on off relationship that has often been stormy. Her tribunal is next week. Does any one have any ideas. Please!

What is the tribunal for the IS or the HB/CTB and what evidence do the DWP/LA have that they were living together as husband and wife?

and, since it is virtually impossible to prove a negative, is there any positive evidence that he was living elsewhere? go find some, it'll help a lot!

After all there is no law against getting pregnant with someone who doesn't live with you.
Oh, and don't let them argue that he used to help to look after the kids and supported them. If she had a claim in with the CSA so much the better, but even if not, this is exactly what absent fathers are supposed to do, isn't it?
