DWP misadvice
Fri 20-Feb-09 01:48 PM

I have just been told by an official at our IS processing centre that a claimant must be getting DLA for a year before they can get SDP.

When I challeged that, he said words to the effect of "oh well, it's always been like that; they must have changed the rules recently"

Sigh.....

Last week Pension Credit told me that a person has to be getting high rate AA to get the severe disability premium.

They just refused to belive me when I told them otherwise.
