Premiums and DLA and NHS care
Mon 19-Jan-09 10:51 AM

I am currently trying to calculate someones Income Support. He is funded by health on a continuing care basis, so is only entitled to DLA at a daily rate at the weekend when he comes out of care and stays with Mum. So I need to see if I can get Income Support, but the regs seem to say DLA must be in payment. Can I get IS calculated on a daily basis to match the DLA payments or is his entitlement (but partial payment) to DLA sufficient to trigger the Disability Premium, the Enhanced Dis Prem as well as the SDP on a weekly calculation. Finally will the weekly income of £102.25 Incapacity benefit also be seem as a daily income or always as a weekly income?
